Yard and Site Support Person

This role is the lubricant that ensures the company maintains the highest possible production rates and is integral to our operational performance.

Key tasks

The Yard and Site Support Person (Logistical Support) will be required to carry out the following tasks:

  • Collection and delivery of plant, materials, barriers from the yard, site or from our suppliers and return them as required.
  • Receive plant and materials, complete checks upon delivery to confirm condition upon receipt
  • Maintain all delivery/collection paperwork
  • Keep the yard organised and tidy
  • Complete stock checks
  • Carry-out vehicle and plant checks
  • Issue materials/plant and record details
  • Assist the teams to load and unload their vehicles for work
  • Set up traffic management in accordance with a provided plan
  • Provide general support to team members on site

Skills

  • Basic computer skills - training will be provided
  • Clean UK driving licence
  • HGV licence Class 1 with Grab operation experience would be very advantageous
  • CSCS card
  • First Aid

Training will be provided for the right candidate.

Location

Kent-based, our yard is in Sittingbourne, but we have projects across the UK so occasional working away is required.
